I love the idea of bringing glow toys! So much cheaper to buy them at home rather than in the parks. On a side note, I now always bring cold meds just in case someone gets sick.... Thanks for the post! I love anything Disney!
Great point Megan! Cold meds definiltey need to be included.
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!
PONCHOS for sure! I grew up as a Floridian (though I live in Colorado now), and you can almost guarantee and afternoon shower at Disney no matter when you go!

So true! Especially in the summer time! :)
What a great list of items! You're right, ponchos are an absolute must have in Florida.
I always like to have a pair of Minnie ears with me when I visit Walt Disney World. It's always fun to meet characters when you're wearing them! :)

Thanks Kat! Yes!! Minnie Ears! Those are another thing I always try and make sure we pack. I will say, the initial pair I found in the park I haven’t really found any outside of the park that I like as much. Have you?
Great list! I love doing Disney posts as well! My fave things to being are snacks and Disney toys !
def buy autograph books ahead of time. i went to JC Penny they have a Disney section, and bought tshirts to wear each day!
JC Penny's does have a great selection of Disney stuff and at a good price!
Light up toys and pins are a MUST have before you get to the park. I also should have been more prepared with my sweatshirt. It was a little chilly at night.
I love these tips! As a born and raised Orlando-ian, we went to Disney a lot! So I can agree about the need for ponchos for sure! And I love the light-up toys. I never was allowed to buy any of those things because they were so expensive. But those glow in the dark bracelets and necklaces are pennies, comparatively speaking. Genius!
It's funny too because they kids are just as happy with them, it is insane what they charge in the park for some of that stuff especially if you are buying more than one of it.
Great ideas! Love the cute ponchos! We needed them for our last trip. Love going to Disney!
Hi Liz! I know the feeling, I cannot tell you how many times I’ve forgotten a poncho. Sometimes we brave it and a couple times we’ve caved and bought one (mostly for the kids). Now, we keep some in the car so we when we go down there we’re sure to have them lol.
Yes, and don't forget to buy a Mickey balloon for decoration when there!
*never too old for a balloon at Disneyland
Lol right! :) my problem is they last forever and driving home is nuts with them in the car ? Worth it though ?
