Winter is nice, for a day or two but then you get into the cold dreary temperatures that bring sore throats and sniffles. I cannot even imagine for those people who have to shovel snow. Winter is often the perfect time to plan a getaway. Not only do warm winter getaway destinations allow you to get outside and move but it’s a proven fact that sunshine provides a health benefit to us. Sunshine increases your Vitamin D, decreases depression and decreases your risk of getting sick, just to name a few of the benefits sunshine provides.

Did you know that Beaches Resorts has Family Friendly Luxury Resorts in the Caribbean? There are things for kids of all ages to enjoy. I had typically thought of Beaches Resorts as only a couples vacation or honeymoon destination and didn’t realize all that they have to offer for families. One of the resorts I’m dreaming of getting away to is the Turks & Caicos. Here they have 5 villages to choose from. You can stay at a garden oasis in the Caribbean & Seaside Villages, experience old-world charm in the Italian Village, or enjoy Caribbean paradise in the French Village, or enjoy the laid-back charm and elegance of their Key West Village. As a bonus, you can choose one to stay at but visit any of the five which is pretty amazing.

Another cool thing about Beaches Resorts is that they are All-Inclusive. This includes: the water parks; water sports (including scuba diving); land sports (for example tennis and golf); entertainment; kids’ clubs (which featuring the Sesame Street characters); an Xbox Play Lounge; tween club; teen nightclub; and a miniature train ride. This also includes all of your dining. Sounds heavenly, doesn’t it?
