We ♥ Disney
We are big Disney fans. Before kids we weren’t the kind to have Disney stuff just around, but it had found a way into events in our life. Our wedding invitations were Cinderella inspired, there were a couple Disney songs included in our playlist as well. After kids, it’s almost all we know…lol. It’s now our Disney life.
My daughter loved Mickey & Minnie and Rapunzel. (You can also check out our Rapunzel Breakfast!) She was familiar with Disney characters that I didn’t even know how she knew who they were. It was crazy. This led us to our first visit not long after she was one. She loved it! There are a lot of times that people have concerns about whether their child is old enough to enjoy it or not, but honestly- any age can enjoy the Magic Kingdom.
Disney World With Little Ones
I will say Disney World is very different with small ones. We don’t rush through to get to rides. In fact, we do a lot of walking around and looking. I’ve seen areas and noticed details that I’ve never paid attention to before. It’s amazing to see it from that point of view. Not the one where you are trying to accomplish getting all your rides checked off and running from one place to the other. The one where you sit and take it in, you see the details in buildings, the kids dressed as their favorite character, and pretend that you hear Pascal laughing in the bushes.
Annual Passholders
We became annual pass holders two years ago and I love it. It’s not too far from us so it’s a nice weekend getaway. I’ve determined that as long as we go 6 times a year I get my money out of it. I previously booked vacations to WDW as an independent travel agent as well. I loved being able to share my Disney knowledge and help people with their trips. It’s not something I really made any money off of, I did it because it’s fun. Well, that and it gives me the excuse to visit different resorts when we are down there for “research.” You can also see our In Room Celebration at the Beach Club Resort.
I’ll be sharing some Disney knowledge and fun in upcoming post 🙂
What about you? Are you a Disney Fan?
I just became an annual pass holder this year, which feels a little crazy because I live in WV. I think I’m going to get my money’s worth though. Went in April, leaving for another trip on Monday, and I have a tentative trip for January. I used to be a cast member so I’m very into Disney. I’m actually going to Tokyo Disneyland in August as well. I can’t use annual pass there though 🙁
That’s awesome though! The annual pass still works out to be cheaper a lot of times especially if you come down for multiple days and park hop. I am soooo jealous of Tokyo Disneyland! It looks amazing!!
My girls are finally old enough to truly enjoy Disney. I hope to start planning a trip to Disney for next year and I will definitely keep you in mind.
Awesome! It’s so much fun! I’d be happy to help 🙂 The services through Fairytale Journeys by Bobbi are completely free and there’s no additional charges (which is the case when you book through any travel agent by the way)
Congrats on your new travel planning venture! I bet your experience helps folks plan great trips!
Thanks!
I love Disney! My husband and I went 2 years ago to Disney World and loved it. Of course, I grew up watching the movies and loving every minute of it!
I love the movies still lol! It’s fun introducing my little ones to some of the older Disney movies
We are huge Disney fans! My dad started planning my daughter’s first trip before she was even born. I can’t wait to take her someday!
That’s so sweet!!! <3
We haven’t gone as a family yet, but when we do I know we will definitely need an agent to show us the way!
I’d be happy to help when you’re ready 🙂
We are also huge Disney fans! We have annual passes to Disneyland and try to make it out there every 6-8 weeks with the family!
That’s so cool! That’s us and Disney World lol. One day I want to take the kids to visit Disneyland!
